tha wha? ah ah ah. The Toby Keith Video..lol, yeah np. Well, the people you see up at the mountaintop base are all my company. They flew him and his band in on a chinook and he did an acoustic show for us as a part of his USO tour. If you watch the video you'll see a bunch of smiling faces rocking out to his music, gives you the impression that were all in it together, blah blah blah... They pan back and forth and make great pains to include my roomate, Walker, the smiling african american face. Heres the catch, we're not smiling because we enjoyed the show. Almost to the man, we're smiling, because at that time, the most exhaustive and withering honky joke contest ever engaged in by man was raging amongst the enlisted. So google it, watch it again..armed with that little tidbit.
He sacred the shit out of me when he came in btw. I was asleep on guard and he snuck up into the tower behind me. He's a big guy. I spun around with an m249 and nearly killed him. Got a picture of him holding my gun and posing with me for the camera here on my desk, it's giving me a giggle as we speak.
One of my buddies who was perhaps not all there in the head just kept following him around saying "Hi toby keith, hi toby keith, hi toby keith" with a big shit eating grin on his face....so we all started doing it. He was a good sport.
And by the way, C1:18, Charlie Rock hooah, repping the Big Red One.
