That they don't take your beliefs as seriously as you do.

Just as many people of faith mock others of faith, their beliefs, their deities.  Or how they mock non believers.

So...you are simply describing disrespect. Got it!

Two wrongs don't make a right.

You know the old saying, "Hate the sin, not the sinner?"

Well that also works with, "Disrespect the belief, not the believer."

Unfortunately people are too thin skinned and take comments about their beliefs as a personal attack.  Hell, I've had believers who take my lack of belief in their deity as a personal attack against them.
