I have personally not actually encountered any of the deities who are worshiped by humanity's theists (if these entities exist, then are they even deities? Is it possible that they could be life-forms who are so different from humanity that the label of "deity" becomes a convenient but not necessarily accurate way of making sense of it?).  However, if people are to form an accurate opinion of what religion, God worship, and the nature of this God entails, then do you think that a good starting point for forming an opinion begins with observing the behaviors of those who practice that religion and examining what their holy books say?

If we cannot actually interact with the life-form itself, then by what other means can people form opinions about religion/theism?  Do you have any suggestions, sir? Thanks.

That is the problem Kernel.
Most people get an idea about God looking at what religions say and that is wrong.
Religions born out from spirituality.
Shiva, Krishna, Buddha, Jesus were teaching spirituality not religion.
The problem however is that those who came later twisted this spirituality into religion which
of course is not what the spiritualists were teaching.
The caste of priests try and succeed to become intermediaries between God and the masses.
They invented the hell and a myriad of other rubbish in order to control the mind of the masses.
The thing however is that God reject these intermediaries but fool people think that these self proclamed intermediaries tell the word of God.
But nothing is lost Kernel.
God is alive and well and He sees were lie the rot and were lie the sincerity.
As far as anybody act with sincerity God will show up to them.  Lightbulb

The problem I have and as it seems almost everyone else has is that God described in most popular "holy" books might use the most extreme and unimaginable method of motivating his creation to follow his moral laws by potential punishment in afterlife trough torture, regenerate like wolverine from X-men, repeat the process. Its the most f up idea there is because if you take it seriously, you potentially might get unimaginable nightmare no words can describe, which ideally should motivate you swallow the bitter pill of religious lifestyle.

Have you got any evidence that God did write those Holy books or that he ever said what is written in the holy books?  Worship

Why God would take up your invitation to lunch considering that you still do not follow logic?
How can you expect that the universe pop up as per magic and nobody run it?

I do follow logic, which is one of the reasons I can see, with clarity, that he doesn't exist in the first place. He should want me to know him personally, right? What better way to convince a non-believer than with the man himself. Instead of using messengers or some other means, just have him present himself, on demand, to my designated location and let me see that he's the real deal. People have been kept waiting for 2000+ years.

Quit teasing us already and present yourself!!

Ooooooh that's right. He can't because he's imaginary.

Only 2000 years you reckon?
What about some millions of years since the matter became plant and the plant became an animal and an animal become a man (man-woman)?
Then why God didn't show up to a stone or a plant or an animal?
Give time Nympha.
When the human is ready then and only then God will show up but again the mind must be free from non logic dogmas.  Lightbulb
