You see, that's the problem with religion. Once you teach simple people, that magic is real and claims without evidence are acceptable - any nut-job, or criminal can make up whatever "spells" they want. That's why every religion is splintered into countless sects and denominations, each arguing and fighting for made-up magical bullsh*t, that suits them.
It's all nonsense. The sooner you realize that, the sooner you'll stop being part of the problem.
