Quote:its a very good question you ask.
No argument.
Quote:god couldnt simply prove a way he exists in a way that you would understand it.
Who the hell are you to put limitations on what God can or cannot do?
Quote: if he came to you in dreams and visions you wouldnt believe.
Speaking for myself, that much is certainly true (if I believed the things I dream about, they'd lock me away in The Home For The Neurologically Flaccid). But billions of people believe in gods simply because of the dreams and visions they have.
Quote: if he healed you you wouldnt believe, etc.
Actually, I would. Please don't be so presumptuous as to tell me what I would or would not believe.
Quote:gods theories make sense like saying evil is out to kill steal and destroy you and your life.
That's not a theory.
Quote:and that he wants good for you.
If God wants good for people, why do bad things continue to happen to people?
Quote: faith is what god uses to communicate in his relationship with humans. without faith we couldnt see god and the bible says that.
Yes, I'm aware that the Bible says, 'Faith is the evidence of things not seen.' Leaving aside the terrific illogic of that statement, I prefers Twain's definition: 'Faith is believing what you know ain't so.'
Quote:but i think its personal experiences and personal ("going to god") that will help you see him and seeing results from prayers that would help you see he exists.
No offense, but that sounds like a course in self-delusions: 'If I pray to God and accept that my personal experiences are the result of my prayers, I will believe in God.' This is the same kind of thinking that results in casinos always showing a profit.
Quote:i couldnt give you my experiences if i could you wouldnt believe. its on experience that god shows himself.
Same answer.
