I'm missing your point and what it has to do with the topic here, but I'm already gone anyway. Explain it to someone else.
Being a book revealed in Arabic, and dealt with ancient Arabic society, the society has to be studied to know what the book is talking about.
To relate while reading, it's better to know Arabia. It's crucial.
Just like getting to know what Rome was to understand the hell early Christians endured in the Roman Arena.
