Take all the discoveries that humans made since we exist.
If those who discovered something would have thought in the same way as you think then nothing would have been discovered.
These people would have been waiting and waiting for the bread to fall from the sky but they didn't.
They use logic, they use also guessing until their guessing and hard work turn into reality.
You guys on the other hand wait and wait until the bread fall from the sky.
In this way you will wait for ever.
In the context of the discussion, it's a fine idea. No reason to "focus my free will" on something that, for all intents and purposes, has been shown to be a scam.
