The malevolence and inhumanity of the nuns who ran the mother and baby homes and Magdalene laundrettes of Catholic Ireland never ceases to shock me.

My thoughts are with the women still alive today who lost their babies in that home. May they find some kind of resolution through this horror being dragged into the light of day.
