True, but he did eventually start calling it Obamacare and even said he liked the name. That was IMO a mistake.
I don't think he had much choice in the matter, particularly when you have Americans who are unable to understand that Obamacare = the Affordable Care Act. A snappy nickname with fewer syllables is much easier to digest, I suppose.
