I agree. I'm not sure why we don't consider healthcare as much a basic need as food, water, and shelter. But we have a big issue with people in power treating poor people with disdain, as they funnel money from the pockets of the poor and middle class into the pockets of the rich.
Republicans screw us over, Democrats refuse to fight back, and they bth work together to squash any third party.
It's interesting that you choose food, water and shelter, all of which are controlled by the free market, even in western European countries. I don't really have a point, just thought it was interesting examples.
