No, I don't think so. I know a lot of fictional characters who are considerably more believable than that idiot deity from the Bible. Don't believe me? On the count of three, try really, really hard to disbelieve in your god. Listen to what you're saying to yourself in the back of your mind while you try to do that.

Then repeat the experiment and try to believe in each of the following, as real beings rather than fictional characters:
- Superman
- Darth Vader
- The Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man.

That's an incredibly stupid way to live, Val. To be sincere and consistent in that POV, you would have to try to believe in every unproven idea, without exception. There aren't enough hours in the day to do that.
