The only candidate I had any interest in this election was Bernie, not because I believed in his politics but because he was an actual like able guy. He didn't have this aura of "fakeness" that seemed to be resonating off donald dump and shillary.
The biggest problem vis a vis the US political parties is that they are all shades of hard right, especially when it comes to economics. Yes, the Demcorats do tend towards libertarianism when it comes to what happens in the bedroom (but not the Libertarian party, who essentially are Republitraitor clones), but on economic issues they all sing off the one hymnsheet viz "rob from the poor to feed the rich".
