Given how eager many Americans are to run down anyone who dares block their commute just to protest against being disproportionately shot by authorities, I don't find the violence in these regions mystifying at all. Humans get very touchy when they're frustrated, in grief, stymied, abused, etc.
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.
