I know I'm old because I wear orthotic supports in my shoes and still have trouble walking long distances. Also, I'll be having ameliorative surgery for carpal tunnel syndrome in both wrists in the course of the next couple of months.
I can usually judge a person's age within a few years. That said, I saw a surgeon last year who looked young enough to be my grand daughter (if I had one).
We all need someone between us and the cliff's edge. I was born exactly one month after Truman's term ended and Eisenhower's began. So that makes you my elder. (Much respect.) Now don't go any where!
My wife on the other hand came into the world during the reign of Franklin Roosevelt, poor bastard.
