Actually, there are forms of agnosticism that cover both of those positions. Neither of them are the definition you gave it earlier.

No, atheists don't believe in God. The term in itself is not a claim, though many atheists will make that claim. Either way, we didn't make up the idea of god. Therefore, we are under no obligation to disprove the claim. You know that, though. You are doing this for kicks, not even realizing that your game has been played more times than I can count.
