Like I've said countless times, I used to consider myself leftist, but the democratic party has fallen apart, and I can't relate to anything they really represent. Not exactly a republican either however. I think the democratic party is having an identity crisis, and so is the RNC. The DNC used to be the party of working class, but now it morphed into the elitist coastal snobs the RNC used to be. The DNC and many Clinton supporters (that I know) look at the poor with disdain and contempt. They feel they are too stupid to make decisions so decisions have to be made for them. Throughout human history, people reject being told what to do and what to believe, and resent being called ignorant so that's a major reason I along with a lot of other people who left the left can't relate especially to what it's become. I don't see them turning it around very soon either unless they calm down a bit and start acting civil, otherwise it's a huge turn off.
