China is also a capitalist country, it allows western businesses.
What I object to isn't business, but a free for all market. Even China is now realizing that decades of lack of regulation are causing huge pollution problems. So when you say "capitalism works", for whom? The Un Family could not pay an army if they were not producing something and didn't have global investments. Same with the Castro Family, Fidel's estimated personal wealth was $800,000,000.
Regulations are not harmful in and of themselves. When they are put in place to motivate business to provide and invent, like the government mandates on cars with seat belts and air bags helped improve cars.
I am not anti private sector, just anti abuse, anti monopoly, pro funding of products that improve lives, not greed that simply is out to exploit.
