And it seems like a good idea to keep people of certain beliefs out of your country. If this guy's parents hadn't been aloowed in, those kids might be alive. I get that back then, it was probably thought that muslims would assimilate and adopt western values, but we're seeing that all too often that's not the case.

Buying into that fear in the west is exactly what the sickos want. 

Letting your children die so as not to "buy into fear" doesn't seem like good policy to me.

So when the west responds to violence in the east because kids are killed in the west, their children never end up dead as a result of our responses? 

Reducing immigration isn't killing people in another country.

Religion is the cause of this,

And yet you're against a call to block people from dangerous religions from entering the country. Makes no sense.

and to me really isnt that much better than rival street gangs who pull drive by's and end up hitting an innocent kid in the process. The only difference to me between religion, and a street gang is that a street gang doesn't have political power. 

Do you lock your door to keep out street gangs and other dangers, or invite them in to kill you?
