I mean think about it presidency is a perfect smoke screen: Melania is in NY and Kush is just filled up with work so he doesn't have time to monitor on Ivanka. So when Kush found out what's going on he started keeping his eye on Ivanka and Donald and it also explains why Melania is so angry.
