My views differ on some issues with them, but there is no way I would vote for Corbyn. I consider him a genuine threat to this country, hence the "bite the bullet, as they say" part.

But I suppose I will see what happens in the voting booth.

Why is he a genuine threat? Because he is unwilling to use Trident, an outdated and overwhelmingly murderous (and US controlled, so much so that no British PM had the ability to launch the missiles) response to the Soviet threat? Because he wants to bring policing levels up in response to the increaed terror threat? Because he wants to increase funding of the NHS back to the levels needed for it to work, and also kill off the PFI contracts crippling Trusts? Because he wants to renationalise public transport and energy suppliers so that people stop paying through the nose (twice*) to subsidise welfare queens like Beardy Branson or foreign governments? Because he wants to increase controls on banks and other financial institutions to ensure that the crashes of the last thirty years (directly as a result of Maggie the milk stealer's financial deregulations)? Because he wants to negotiate a sensible Brexit deal where the UK has access to its biggest trading partner at a time when no other major country is willing to talk? Because he wants to tax major companies, and make them pay even a fraction of their fair share, for the first time in more than a generation?

Yeah, with those senseless policies I can see why you would vote for the party which'll fuck you over every which way til Sunday, and not the party who'll try and govern for your benefit.

*Currently, in real terms, the government subsidises the privatised rail cos at twice the level they did BR for the ten years before it was wound up, all in return for a service which is less punctual, less reliable, more likely to kill passengers and many times dearer to passengers than the one BR delivered.
