Even if a strong pro remain majority were returned it'd be very iffy to hope Brexit died as there's no mechanism to reverse Art 40.

Could a new government reverse Article 50 and undo Brexit?

Could a new government reverse its Article 50 request and undo Brexit?

The short answer is yes.

And the rest of the article goes on to state the EU parliament has to pass legislation to amend the ToL, before ratificaion from all 27 governments (which in the case of Irealand at least means referendum as it's a constitutional change). So the answer is realyy "before Brexit has to be completed, not a fucking hope, maybe 25 years later if you're lucky".

My worry is the deal Mayhem's struck with the DUP. A return of "a protestant parliament for a protestant people" is on the cards.
