I'm not going to split hairs about the difference though. It's obvious that you guys are only making this argument because they are excluding a Trump supporting gay group. I don't know why you can't just say that. Yes, they have the right to discriminate, but that's not what I'm arguing anyway.
I'm simply pointing out the irony of the long fight of gays to be included in society, only to discriminate against other gays for their political beliefs. Especially if they are okay with the Catholic Church of all people.
Of course they get to use public areas for parades. There's a difference between public use of space and government benefits. Anyone has the right to set up a parade like this so long as they fund it themselves.
Honestly, if the US government stopped giving the Boy Scouts so many special handouts that other private organizations didn't get, I wouldn't care what their policies were with LGBT or atheists. They could exclude anyone they wanted then.
I call bullshit. You are nitpicking over small differences. Am I to believe you care about small differences or that you just don't like Trump and are okay with gay groups legally discriminating against them. It's obvious.

This is some form of reducto absurdum. It is silly to say, oh, the gays don't accept someone who represents anti-gay agendas, what hypocrites! Of course they don't.
This is simply the same old biggots crying that people will not tolerate their intolerance. Well, duh.
Would you expect a march for Black Lives Matter to accept a member of the KKK in their march? How about a kids BarMmitzvah celebration welcoming a sign carrying neo-nazi? A 9-11 remembrance ceremony should make sure the guy with the "death to america" sign has a place right up front. Amiright?
It is not different. Someone who actively supports a group, in this case our current admin, that is actively, this very moment, seeking to do them harm, is obviously not welcome, nor should they be.
Your arguments are flawed. I would not expect a private Christian group to accept a group from the rally for reason, even. It isn't one sided, you are all just desperate to make the the left center appear as hypocritical as the far right.
To be clear, it isn't simply about who a person voted for, and trying to paint it that way shows both your ignorance and desperation.
He voted for, and still currently supports, someone who is actively trying to harm them. Key words being currently, active and harm.
Take your reducto absurdum and your reek of desperation elsewhere.
Can't take nazi comparisons seriously. Especially since that group is okay with the Catholic Church.
