Why are the Abraham religions so interested in controlling people sexually

Seems this is one of the most common things Abrahamic religions like to restrict. But, why? I grew up Mormon, and all I can say is that it's very restrictive when it comes to this sort of thing. Like the whole Anti-Porn thing. I remember growing up being taught how evil porn apparently way. The typical talking points like "it's evil" or "it will destroy your life".  If you want to at least try to go without watching porn than go for it. However, anyone who says they have never done that is lying. I remember when I was 14 I my Dad walked in one me jerking off. It was morning and I did not lock my door [really stupid move]. But I remember how much I was shamed for it. My parents acted like I just murdered people. My Dad forced me to go talk to my bishop about it and what not. However, at that age I fell for the lie that religion sells you. You know, the one where you will go to hell if you don't "obey God" or some shit like that. I honestly think when you suppress someone in some fields such as sexual exploration there is a likelihood that person is going to be more fucked up.

I am honestly just glad I am agnostic turning atheist and not some religious person anymore. Well, I mostly just like to sleep in on Sundays. lol

However, it sort of sucks because right now I am home from school for the Summer. I have my computer in my bedroom [I know it's a fucking miracle I can do that] but if I close my door during the day my parents will all of the sudden be "concerned" that I'm doing something "bad". lol Maybe I just want some privacy? I am 23 after all, so I'm pretty sure I can look out for myself. 

It will be nice when I graduate in a year and officially move out. [I sort of have already, but not fully]
