I've always liked Bill Richardson, but he's a few years older than I'd like to see for a candidate in 2020 and his ties to the Clintons are probably too toxic for him to get any traction if he did run. It's a shame because his qualifications for the job are stellar.
I'd also like to take Jerry Brown as he is today and somehow stuff him into a younger Jerry Brown's body. Alas.
A Warren/Booker ticket would be strong and one I'd gladly support. I only wish there were more strong liberals from rust belt or western states who could hold their own, if only to counter the GOP narrative that liberalism is a coastal phenomenon that is out of touch with "ordinary" Americans.
