The disconnect from logic there is inexcusable for apologists.
No, no Adam and Eve should've been ok with being too dumb to know they were naked. The Space Wizard doesn't want us seek out knowledge even though he built us to want knowledge.
I never said they weren't or shouldn't have been, I'm saying Yahweh should have been smart enough to understand what he was doing (but then if he had one brain cell in that noggin he wouldn't blame them for it afterward so he ain't that bright anyway). Or how hard would it have been to not tell them about the tree so they never even thought about it or pursued it at all, put it in a really out-of-the-way place, and not worry about it? At least then if the serpent tempted them, they would never have been warned against it and Yahweh would have no grounds to condemn them, not that he ever needed any with his fucked-up sense of what constitutes 'justice'.
Religions were invented to impress and dupe illiterate, superstitious stone-age peasants. So in this modern, enlightened age of information, what's your excuse? Or are you saying with all your advantages, you were still tricked as easily as those early humans?
