I'm neither brainwashed nor sick and I think it's to bad you have deluded yourself out of believing, but in the end we all will find out, right.

If death is nothingness, an endless, dreamless sleep, then, no, you won't find out, and neither will I.  My belief in the Christian god was no different than centuries of belief in fairies.  I got to a point in my life where I, finally, abandoned it; I only wish that I would have arrived at that determination much, much earlier in life.  So many wasted years...

 Did you try and study the protestant side of Christianity before you leaped.
