Hmmm. While not a doctor my wife has volunteered for several years with a local hospital research project as an interviewer for a Longevity Study. That is a cute way to say they are checking for dementia without using the word. Basically they interview old farts on a yearly basis and track the deterioration. Recently she said that she saw an interview that the WLB did with Chris Matthews of MSNBC a number of years ago and flatly came out and said that the deterioration she sees convinced her that he has Alzheimer's.
Since 1980, Alzheimer's has been an essential attribute of transformational republican presidents.
