Sweden has a 85% non-religious population and it happens to be among the most peaceful nations in the world. It also has one of the highest levels of education and equality. It's not the money, it's the mind. Countries that are underdeveloped and quite violent tend to be very religious.
It seems secularism does encourage peace, education and development. Religion seems to do the complete opposite.
Also it shows that without education they fall to religion. And with education they see the delusion of it.
