About me: I'm a Canadian uni student. I'm highly interested in sustainability as well as business and law and I'm pursuing all of these things for my education and career. Aside from playing mafia, my hobbies include running, playing music, writing, and any adventures that come my way. I was raised as an anti-theist, so I don't have a dramatic de-conversion story for you all (sorry to disappoint), but I consider myself highly fortunate not to have grown up under the delusion of a god. Hopefully I have something good to contribute here aside from trying to lynch people over in the Mafia thread.
Most of my friends are agnostics or lazy theists, so I look forward to having a place to talk to other atheists. A question for you guys: I've noticed some theists come here. What happens to them? Do they ever de-convert or do they just disappear?
Few stay and are ones we like to have around. There are also a few that stay like a thorn in our side. Annoying as hell but some of them bring good discussion to the table. Others, I'd personally like to kick in the pants, but I can't so I ignore them. The majority of theists come here to troll and try and convert atheists. When they get shot down or made fun of, they typically leave. They are also the ones who create shit post threads... they make a thread to shit on people here, then leave.
