Bible, insecurity, superiority complex, the closet is uncomfortable . . .
There is no one reason the right as a whole dislikes trans people. Each of them have different reasons. I used to be in a relationship with a relatively anti-gay dude who would watch gay porn. I caught him doing it so many times. I don't think for a second he was "all-the-way-gay," but he definitely had some homoerotic tendencies. Anyway, he's a pretty right-wing dude. I think his reasoning had to do with being tough and manly. Obviously, you can be tough and manly and be bi or gay. Guys just don't seem to know that.
