Because God is infinitely thin-skinned and infinitely unforgiving.
You want forgiveness God has made it possible for you to have, rejecting Jesus is not the way you can be forgiven.
Godscreated Wrote: I seriously doubt it, if this person ever knew God he would not have made all the mistakes he did. I think he's a sock and I hope someone catches him at it. Besides I'm not mad what good would that do me no matter who he is. Actually if he were to be a Christian I just might get a bit upset with him for such a poor expression of what the Bible says. That is definitely no way for a Christian to act.

Mister A Wrote:If he is as he presents, he is a believer who thinks he has lost his soul due to offending God with an unforgivable sin. You might want to point out that no one actually knows what constitutes that unforgiveable sin of blaspheming against the Holy Spirit. Do you think a teenager who said 'screw the Holy Spirit' in his metal phase is damned forever with no hope? If not, maybe let this guy know why not. If he turns out to be a sock, what harm will you have done?
You can't be a Christian and commit the unforgiveable sin. The unforgiveable sin is to reject the Holy Spirit's call to come to Christ and become a Christian. You are putting the cart before the horse, that's a good way to get nowhere. Really no one knows, yet I just explained it to you and I've seen other Christians give the same explanation. No to the bold above, which I made bold. This guy has no idea who God is or what God offers, it's as obvious as the nose on your face.

Dead wrong. The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.
Dead wrong. My explanation stands.

You're pretty hypocritical to call someone out on deceitful witnessing...
I've never given deceitful witnessing and that wasn't a witness according to the scriptures, a lie is a better way to describe it.

While you're probably sick of hearing about Ms. Godscreated Loony, it is crucial that you read this letter. Without going into all the gory details, let's just say that I like to challenge people to treat the disease, not the symptoms. I realize that that's a tall order, but Godscreated wants to delegitimize our belief systems and replace them with a counter-hegemony that seeks to send us down an intolerant path that will be tough to recover from. Personally, I don't want that. Personally, I prefer freedom. If you also prefer freedom then you should be working with me to fight the good fight. Let me end by stating simply that Ms. Godscreated Loony's bait-and-switch tactics obfuscate any attempt to locate responsibility for the consequential decisions of those who have access to the means of power. I'll leave it at that.

I have no idea what you are referring to, come back when you can make some good sense.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.
