There will be little investment made... so not much lost on your part. You'll know what you are while they won't... they're the losers in that story. Still, it's a shame that we have to operate under that unfair assumption.
It's hard for me to feel like it's unfair when the other side is that women have to feel like prey all the time.
It's a patriarchal society. We know that.
Some are driving it to change, but the majority is stuck on it.
Some are driving it too fast and causing a terrible backlash from the conservative corner.
It is known that a societal change must occur slowly....though I'm not against the occasional jolt.
And they don't have to feel like prey all the time. There are many "nice guys" out there... men that wouldn't prey on them and would endeavor to protect them from being preyed upon.
That they do feel like prey all the time is, in my view, the result of a form of terrorism. Maybe it's a terrorism that's been going on for generations and generations...
