But more importantly, he's a rich, white, conservative Republican, and the oracle of his tribe is being attacked.
Robertson may pray on his knees, but he thinks, acts, and votes on his bottom line. A scandal-plagued Fox News is bad for business, since they and Robertson prey on much the same demographic. The worst thing that could happen is that their audience actually started thinking about just who is fleecing them, why, and how.
