I live on a corner and both my neighbours are away on holidays.
Even though I live alone with plenty of privacy, it feels like an extra nice feeling to know that there are no other human beings in my vicinity.
I have a friend who lives in the city in a massive boarding house where, even though you can't see or hear them, you know that there are people within metres of you. Lots of them.
It's sickening.
I don't believe that big cities have anything to offer that's worth living like that.
