That's why they set up their own journals. Not because of the scientific conspiracy, but so they can give each other handjobs and brag about being published and peer-reviewed. Cargo cult science - they see what real science looks like, but in their own Dunning-Kruger way they don't have a clue how it actually works. They think (inasmuch as they can think) that simply making the right noises and gestures turns shit into science.
And other idiots fall for it.
