I don't think you'll find many leftists and moderates here who agree with that position about Detroit. Many of them will state that the city's issues are due to poverty, mismanagement and lack of jobs. But how the fuck do you solve that, hm? The only people who can have an effect is the people of Detroit and Michigan - it's their money to invest. Odd how every state picks its poor slum district. Something something money.
