"afraid of real science" Swing and a huge miss on that one. Reneke's work was real science. The story concocted to make it fit with the fairy tale is pure fantasy bullshit. No science there at all - no logic, either.
The odds of it happening at a specific time for a specific reason is astronomical --- Exactly!! 2 points! It was purely astronomical. It was completely related to astronomy, and the natural movement of stars and planets. No gawd required. Speaking of being afraid of real science and logic, I'd bet $100 that you didn't even bother to read Phil Plait's Discover article. Because you WANT Reneke's work to mean that your Jeebus Crisps actually existed like the wholly babble says.
I'm not speaking of Reneke and no I've not read Plait. Yes you are afraid and yes it's real science. If you were not afraid you would do as you are suggesting I do.

Afraid? Projecting again? I thought you didn't judge people. Lying for Jeezus again, huh?

Why should we? I'm sure we would be struck by all the childish foolishness on the DVD.
