Gay people are awesome as fuck and I'm not going to treat them like little babies who can't handle words. I have too much respect for them to do that.
Sure it has to do with insulting gay people, otherwise you wouldn't have fucking used it. I know some children have trouble understanding words have implications beyond their intended fucking meaning, but most people understand it by the time they're twelve.
