At that rate the rainfall would suffocate and deafen any animals. And then calculate the additional weigh of all of that water. It's estimated that the Texas hurricane has already dumped 9 trillion tons of water. Imagine the increased gravity of 6 miles of water around the entire planet. It would disrupt the orbits of all of the solar objects.
So, let's do the math:
6 1/4 inches of rain PER MINUTE
is
375 inches PER HOUR (only a very few places see that much rain in a YEAR !!)
and 375 inches is 31 1/4 feet by the way and that much rain per hour for an entire day is:
750 FEET of rain in one day !!
And that is 5250 FEET of rain in a week !!!! (nearly a mile deep !!!!)
And after 40 days:
30,000 FEET of water, enough to cover all the mountains, and give Noah a grand planetwide ocean to drift across !!!!
