So, let's do the math:
6 1/4 inches of rain PER MINUTE
is
375 inches PER HOUR (only a very few places see that much rain in a YEAR !!)
and 375 inches is 31 1/4 feet by the way and that much rain per hour for an entire day is:
750 FEET of rain in one day !!
And that is 5250 FEET of rain in a week !!!! (nearly a mile deep !!!!)
And after 40 days:
30,000 FEET of water, enough to cover all the mountains, and give Noah a grand planetwide ocean to drift across !!!!
Give god a break, no one ever said he could count above 7. Although if he adds his own divine fingers and toes to jesus' fingers and toes that are also consubstantial with his own fingers and toes, he might get to 10 toes + 10 fingers + 10 toes + 10 fingers = 40! Hey, 40 days of rain, a frikking long rain!

But if you actually read the Bible you might dump the assumption that mountains were the same height then as now...
Yeah? the Bible says the Himalayas rose 29000 feet in 6000 years?
If you actually read the Bible you might dump the assumption it is true.
