I don't know how they could miss out on the opportunity, considering the "Free Thought Convention" that occurred there not long ago. And AA has offices in Texas, so bloody apocalyptic water should be hard to miss.

Maybe they're just focused on mythic symbolism now, rather than the tenor of ministering in the name of the religions they think have no place going public, so that it's easy to dismiss Theists claiming blood water is a sign of the end times, when if there suddenly appeared a barbwire cross rising from the middle of that wet spot they'd be all over it in court.
