On a more serious note - I hope these people can find some sort of peace. No one should ever be forced out of their homeland for any reason.

To me, these crimes are an evidence of free will. Humans have the freedom in this life to literally do "anything".
The grim conclusion of this freedom of will is these crimes. That's why stories of a different place where people live in the grace of God decorate the promises and claims of different faiths.

I'm sure that all these dead children are sleeping until judgement day; and after it they'll be in a so much better place. Something is wrong with the world TBH, and that's evidence of a certain design.

Ethnic cleansing is the only description for the barbaric crimes carried out against the Rohingya minority group in Myanmar. The Rohingya are Muslims, and were denied citezenship; leaving them "stateless".

Reports from the UN, and major media organizations are giving grim reports about the situation; with ethnic cleansing dropping its shadow over the genocide the native army is carrying against Muslim civilians.

In this case, there is no "Al-Qaeda or ISIS" like it is in Iraq or Syria. The victims are literally civilian women, children and elderly. Children and women are being raped and killed. Evidence -that is the dead bodies of Rohingya- is being burnt.

Why is the world silent about this?

Silence creates more rebound. When a person dies in the west, the whole world cries. But aren't these Rohingya children worth our tears too?
Just like Rwanda, the world is silent. Wars take place around oil; but they never take place around innocents being raped and killed.

The world isn't really silent, I saw this on the news yesterday on my break in work.  Plus you just posted 3 links from mainstream media sites.

Also wars do take place around innocents being raped and killed, I think historically more rapes and death have happened around war than anything else.  Unless you mean you're specifically requesting help and military action from the west in this situation?

Does the whole world cry when someone dies in the west?  I don't know because I live here, I can't think why they'd care.  I don't cry about traffic accidents or cancer in the west and I live here.  With the exception of friends or family and so on.

Actually; I care a lot and seriously it hurts me to see a westerner suffering. All human suffering strike this bad feeling in me; especially when you speak about masses.

I'm against tactical bombing and nuclear weapons for this exact reason: when you kill a mass of people, you never know if all of them are guilty or not.

Compare this to the amount of news we read about Hurricanes and natural disasters. Just because the U.S is involved; the media talks and talks about it.

Reading stories about the "Black Death famine" in medieval Europe saddens me a lot; the invasion of Spain puts me against the Muslims of that era, and etc. You can be in others' shoes anytime; God does create man in this short life to test them; hardship after hardship and struggle after struggle.

Give a minority group a home isn't that hard if we considered what the West spend on weaponry. BTW, some Muslims are wealthy like Saudies. Instead of bombing Yemen, why don't they house the Rohingya?
