Muslim Flight Attendant Says She Was Suspended

...because of her religion. She refused to serve alcohol.
I saw this on CNN first. There was a doctor who is a Muslim that commented on this issue. She says that according to the Koran this rule is about abstaining from consuming alcohol. The flight attendant is a new convert I think, and she is taking it too literally. Koran says nothing, according to the commentator, about serving alcohol, and in some cases it is allowed for medicinal purposes.

Meh. Good riddance, I say. It's bad enough that the sex appeal quotient of flight attendants has noticeably degenerated during my lifetime. The last thing I need is some waitress in the sky declining to serve me overpriced vodka so I can "enjoy" the cattle car experience that flying coach has become. Fuck her and her "religious principles".

this is the kind of religious dribble that is actually tearing the country apart. one nut job at a time. i don't fear the random extremist that might make himself a martyr. i fear people like this chick and kim davis. they are the ones that will effect policies. whether it be corporate or gov't. for me it's like well my religious views don't tolerate your nonsensical bullsh!t but where's my hotline to call?

Yet the Taliban banned opium production and cultivation because they thought it was un-Islamic.
It's kind of funny they think they've got a perfect book, written by their god to test them and see whether they're worthy of heaven or hell, and they can't even decide whether the book says drug dealing is wrong or not between them.
