Well, that sounds like misguided hubris. No one is laughing or hating your "idea." Furthermore, even if they were, that alone would not make your idea good. You are suffering under some martyr complex that is leading you to believe you are right based only on the fact that you are meeting resistance. Instead, you should involve yourself in the discussion. You are speaking an awful lot about how brilliant ideas tend to be discarded. It leads me to believe that you are already operating under the assumption that your idea is not only brilliant, but it was absolutely correct before you even started this discussion. Why start this thread if you are already convinced of the veracity of your outlandish assertions? Did you expect us all to respond with complete agreement?
It is not the fact that your idea goes against what we already believe that is the problem. It is that your idea is based completely on interpreting language in the bible and assuming that the events you are linking this eruption to are not debatable. The very foundation of your idea relies on something that is not proven. You must first prove that before you can build upon it.
