Well, the power of the wind in a cat 5 hurricane exceeds the total power generated by the electric grid of the world. But to capture that you need a wind farm 300 miles across, with turbines covering all altitudes up to 9 miles, and that can keep working in 180mph wind, proof against hundred of lightning strikes per second, and better yet, move with the hurricane.
