As for using emotion in decision making, yes I am accustomed to using it in many instances. If the decision is something like what person to spend time with, it would make more sense to use emotion than it would to use mathematics. If the decision is, say, how much money to spend, it would make more sense to use mathematics. Being an emotional creature is not necessarily as negative as you just made it seem, though I may be misreading you.
