There is a big big difference mooney between something material and something spiritual.
Dealing with material things it is very easy to see whether the goods are there or not while dealing with something spiritual you see and feel nothing with your physical senses.

In a physical sense it would be like when you go from Berlin to Paris in train.
You can't be wrong.
You feel that Paris is closer and closer. (example)

In a spiritual sense your physical senses tell you nothing but within your consciousness there is something that tell you that you are getting closer.

Suppose is all a game for God.
God like to create something very small and through evolution this small become big.
A bit like you when you see your baby become a man like you.
How can you explain a baby how the system works?
He-she could not even understand anything beside if you allow the baby to grow to man without going trough the evolution stages what would be the point in creating the universe?

If God would tell you where is hidden the gold's nugget then the game wouldn't make any sense.

Smart people understand how the game works and play according to the rules in order to get at the nugget ASAP while idiots don't and waste their precious time whining and swearing with no end in sight so the goal of life become more and more distant.

A lot of people create their own God that is why we got so many religions but God is not something external to us.
These people never get it.
They don't get it that God is within each of us.
The moon reflect his image on a lake.
According to where you look at that you can see a myriad of moons but the moon is one.
God works in the same way.
There is only one God.
Unfortunately fools think that their God is the right God and other Gods are fakes.
