Crackers are mostly flour... a bit like bread, yes. They help with feeling full without contributing much in terms of calories.
Meat is the best for that, though.
My perfect meal is a grilled steak, medium, with a nice lettuce, tomato, and cucumber salad. Nothing else is required and anything only lessens its perfectness!

(but restaurants will stuff you with fries and rice, of course -.-')
