He hasn't. He's been nothing short of gracious, focusing on the topic rather than using it as a platform to insult those with whom he disagrees. Some atheists can stay on topic, but not many. ;-)
I mean, his first post on this thread had sarcasm in it and was condescending to the atheist members here. But it's nothing compared to the nasty, heinous things Astonished says about theists both in the thread OP and throughout. Can you really blame a theist for having some sarcasm and bitterness in a post after having read the OP and all the other stuff Astonished has said here? And now Steve is the bad guy?? I mean, I try to be fair and objective. I feel like there is definitely a double standard going on here.

It's not the way he says it, it's what he says. A magic sky wizard who knows who I'm thinking of when I'm having a quick one off the wrist?
Yeah, he believes in God. People who believe in God usually believe He knows what we are thinking. Including myself.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."
