Overstatement (and its cousin, hyperbole, which you've copped to as well earlier in this thread) is really sloppy when it comes to communication. You should perhaps say what you mean the first time and then hopefully avoid all the misunderstandings. When you go off half-cocked like this and have to dial it back, you not only offend people with your original statements, you lose credibility when, like now, you have to back away from them after having your extreme language pointed out for the bullshit that it is.
Communication is difficult enough without having to figure out if you really mean what you say or are just trying to make a splash with over-the-top language.

That means they know better that there isn't really one and are just using it to further an agenda.
Well it's a good thing I didn't accuse you of any of that. Firstly, I don't think that people with mental disorders are pieces of shit. Secondly, I'm curious how you know what people really believe and what they pretend to believe. I mean, I get that sometimes it's easy to tell -- I'm looking at you, Ted Haggard -- but how do you know what someone else knows or believes outside obvious situations like that?

I'm on the fence about whether Ken Ham genuinely believes or is just pretending but he sure as hell isn't above using it to dupe those who believe likewise which is completely contrary to what he claims to believe in. Apparently jeebus was full of shit when he said the rich would have a hard time getting into heaven. But he's still a cunt for doing what he does.
Now we're getting somewhere. But do you think those guys are representative of the theist mindset, or simply preying upon it?
